SEDA Group is a leading provider of industry based hands-on education.
We change students’ lives through an individual approach to learning and focus on developing real skills to prepare students for a successful future. Through our partnerships with peak sporting organisations and elite clubs, students in Year 11 and 12 are provided with industry opportunities they will not find anywhere else.
We have a strong history of our students successfully completing their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications that are nationally recognised. Students graduate from SEDA as mature, resilient, independent and capable young adults with the ability to both lead and work within teams. Our students are well placed to make informed choices about their next step towards employment or further study.
SEDA students develop networks, learn directly from industry experts, gain entry to high profile venues and events, and work in and around established and respected organisations.
We proudly partner with:
The intention is to ensure that each young person educated through SEDA develops as a confident learner, cares for and about others and is optimistic about their future.
The educational philosophy is underpinned by the belief that every young person has the capacity to engage with learning, to achieve their life ambitions and make a significant and positive contribution to their community.
SEDA is built on applied, interest-based curriculum models delivered in industry, the community and the real world, and is supported by knowledge-based learning in classrooms. We use real projects and real experiences as an extension to the classroom.
Different students have different learning styles and not all students excel in a traditional learning environment. SEDA’s approach to education is captured in one simple but powerful statement – To Engage, Educate and Empower young people.
