Baldja Mob
SEDA College WA is thrilled to partner with MADALAH Limited (MADALAH)
to offer Indigenous Scholarships to students across Western Australia.
The Baldja Mob is the name of our WA Indigenous Education and
Leadership Program. Spaces are now available to join our Mob, helping to
shape the next generation of Indigenous leaders.
Indigenous Scholarships
With a vision of ‘making a difference and looking ahead,’ MADALAH is a not-for-profit organisation that offers secondary and tertiary scholarships to young Indigenous students to create long-term opportunities.
Through our Indigenous Scholarship program, we work closely with students to develop the next generation of young Indigenous leaders and role models. Through ongoing support and hands-on learning, our Baldja Mob enjoy a strong connection to both culture and community.
There are a limited number of Indigenous Scholarships available each year. If you’d like to find out more about how you can join the Baldja Mob, contact our friendly team today.
Disclaimer: MADALAH reserves the right to determine the number of scholarships that may be awarded each year and the value of the scholarship. Failure to participate in organised Indigenous activities may result in the scholarship being revoked.

The Baldja Mob Story
The Baldja Mob program name comes from the Noongar word ‘Baldja’ which means ‘firmly united.’ As a firmly united team, our Indigenous students come from locations across Western Australia.
Our Baldja Mob meets two or three times a term to promote students’ cultural, educational and career development through a large range of engaging activities. Teachers, cultural leaders and support staff work closely with each student to identify tailored pathways into higher education and/or future employment.
We encourage applications from Indigenous students across WA, with boarding facilities available to those from remote and regional areas. For more information about boarding facilities and the SEDA College difference, please reach out to our friendly team.
