Student Experience Officer

SEDA has a rare opportunity for two experienced and motivated Student Experience Officers to join our team on a full-time basis in a fixed term role. The successful individuals will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the SEDA Workplace Learning Program; developing and maintaining partnerships with industry personnel and organisations; contributing to a culture where teachers and students understand the value of industry experiences; and contribute to the planning, implementation and review of student experiences and opportunities.

You will be joining SEDA as a pivotal part of a dedicated and successful team. This is an important role, so it goes without saying that you will have sound knowledge of workplace learning programs and the ability to facilitate industry relationships. You will have demonstrated experience in mentoring and building relationships with young people in sports, community and related fields and can tap into your networks to provide valuable opportunities for our students.

You will demonstrate strong organisational skills including planning and time management with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances. You will have strong interpersonal and well-developed verbal and written communication skills combined with a positive attitude when you role model our SEDA values of professionalism, innovation, integrity and collaboration. You will be a natural at building rapport and interact effectively with a broad range of people across a variety of levels.
