Student Eligibility

To be eligible to attend SEDA College, applicants must display the following traits and qualities:

  • Ability to be a positive SEDA College brand ambassador
  • Ability to complete the relevant senior secondary certificate
  • Suited to applied learning and a real life learning environment
  • Have the maturity to manage unsupervised work and learning tasks
  • Independent learners that can handle travel and a flexible learning model

Entry – 2025

Individuals must be born between 01/07/08 – 30/06/09 and must have successfully completed Year 10 or equivalent.

Program Criteria

Note that selection into SEDA College’s programs is based on an online application and interview process.

Students can begin the application and enrolment process from Year 9 onwards, for entry commencing in Year 11. You can read more about our enrolment process here. 

College Entry Criteria: 

  • Selection into our Sports Development and Construction and Trade Programs is not dependent on technical skills and students of all ability levels may apply.
  • Students must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australia Permanent Resident to be eligible for any of the SEDA programs. 
  • Western Australian students must successfully complete or have completed Year 10 or equivalent 
  • Students who have already completed Year 11 may be able to enter directly into Year 12 level. Eligibility for this will be determined at an interview and is subject to class availability. 
  • Unfortunately, students who are already completing or have completed Year 12 are not eligible to apply.
  • Students who have a non-traditional or different schooling history should contact our Registrar to determine eligibility for our programs.
