Student Wellbeing

At SEDA, we know the significance of wellbeing for student achievement.

Each student is encouraged to develop a positive relationship with their teacher, who will act as their mentor by supporting both their study and wellbeing throughout their program. The teacher will collaborate with the Program Coordinator and/or Student Connect staff when concerns become more significant.

Student Connect provides professional wellbeing assistance in collaboration with the SEDA teaching team and parents/carers. We find open and regular communication between SEDA staff, students and parents/carers is critical to ensure each student’s individual needs are met.

We aim to develop our student’s capacity to access support services in their local area that are accessible, age appropriate and best placed to meet individual needs. Student Connect also promotes student wellbeing by developing awareness day activities relevant to the needs of our students.

If you would like to get in touch directly with Student Connect our email address is studentconnect@sedagroup.com.au
